Fisher Nuts

Role: Lead content strategist

Assignment: As the AOR for Fisher Nuts, we were in charge of everything from social media to digital and traditional media to shopper marketing.

Strategy: Given the breadth of our work for Fisher, I identified an organic growth opportunity to create a blog for the brand, in order to better integrate the social content we were producing with Fishernuts.com. I also re-launched Fisher’s email marketing strategy, which included planning and creating the content, determining new KPIs, and working with designers and developers to create updated email templates.

I was Lead Content Strategist on this project, working closely with our social media strategists, design, and front-end development teams.

 

Blogs & influencers

Each month, I worked with the social content teams to choose 1 piece of content that would extend to the blog and be more long-form. We also found other pieces content that had been created for other channels, and repurposed them on the blog. This allowed us to have more owned content and to use all of the assets we produced.

Fisher also utilizes a deep roster of influencers, called Fisher Fresh Thinkers. Previously, the Fisher website had links to the Fresh Thinker’s blogs, but there was no place to put any of the Fresh Thinker’s content on the site—a missed opportunity to earn some owned media. When we created the blog, we included Fisher Fresh Thinker content as part of the strategy, teasing their posts on Fishernuts.com, and then driving them to the influencer’s personal site.
