Start Strong, Stay Strong

Role: Lead content strategist

Assignment: P&G has a long-standing military partnership. They along with one of their partners, Operation Homefront, came to us looking for a way to connect military moms, who if not serving in the military themselves, are often moving around a lot, solo parenting and more. They wanted a resource to help these women.

Strategy: We created Start Strong, Stay Strong, a website that connects local families, especially moms and primary caregivers, to each other and the military family community around the world. Users can browse for and submit local events, find hot spots in their community, unlock great savings in the commissary, and read powerful and inspirational stories that help them feel connected and supported. I was Lead Content Strategist on this project, working closely with our UX, design, and front-end development teams.

Targeted & evergreen content

Users are asked to select a nearby base when they arrive to the site. They’re served content that is targeted to their location, by finding things to do near them, or nearby businesses, services or things for sale. Other content on the site is evergreen, and can be seen by users everywhere.
